Heidi Lynn White

Heidi Lynn White, who was born on October 25, 1975 in Des Moines, IA, lost her battle against cancer on the morning of June 4, 2019.  As always, her sister Heather was by her side.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Raccoon River Nature Lodge, 2500 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines.

For the past four years, Heidi had been working at Ted Lare Design & Build.  She loved to inspire creativity in others with her artistic abilities expressed through crafts and artwork for the garden.  Heidi’s color memory was legendary!

Heidi loved the sea, the sun and the surf.  Most recently, she loved planning tropical dream vacations to cross off of her bucket list.  She was able to accomplish two of them and unfortunately was forced to cancel a third.  Even as her health declined, she would never stop planning in her heart and mind.

Left to cherish Heidi’s memory are her children Lucy, Della and Henry and their father John White; parents Ken and Diane Ulrich; sister Heather Simmons and numerous relatives and friends.
