Carolyn K Weaver

Carolyn Kay Cunningham Weaver, who was born on November 4, 1945 at Boone County Hospital in Boone, Iowa to Eleanor Louise McComb and Elmer Joseph Cunningham of Grand Junction, Iowa, passed away at the age of 77 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri on Friday, August 10, 2023.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her younger sister, Barbara Ann, who was born in September of 1949 at Boone County Hospital in Boone, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Edward S. and Viola Grimes Cunningham; maternal grandparents, Otis Wilbur and Mabel Peachey McComb; and her parents Elmer J. (1987) and Eleanor L. (2002) McComb Cunningham.

Carolyn married Ronald Lee Weaver of Des Moines, Iowa on July 20, 1974 and divorced on June 12, 1987.  No children were born to this union.  Carolyn worked at Look Magazine in Des Moines for five years and then went to work at Home Plastics, Inc. for 33+ years as a machine operator.  She lived in Waukee, Iowa for 30 years until moving to Kimberling City, Missouri in 2006. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Ernst Funeral Home in Waukee.  Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Grand Junction Cemetery in Grand Junction, Iowa.
